BLACKSHINE: Two New Songs Available For Download
September 16, 2006Two songs from BLACKSHINE's upcoming album, entitled "Lifeblood", have been posted online at the band's MySpace page. The tracks "Stonefog" and "Denial of Pain" will be downloadable for one week, after which they will continue to be streamed at the site.
As previouslty reported, Dockyard 1 has set a September 25 release date for "Lifeblood". The follow-up to 2002's "Soulless & Proud" was recorded at 52nd Music Studio with co-producer Tor Adolfsson and is said to be the Stockholm, Sweden-based band's "most interesting and catchy album" to date.
BLACKSHINE parted ways with drummer Stefan "Stipen" Carlsson (HARM'S WAY, ex-MERCILESS, DIA PSALMA/STREBERS, TRANSPORT LEAGUE) earlier in the year and replaced him with Chris Barkensjö (KAAMOS).
BLACKSHINE was previously signed to the SPV label.
